Staci, Cord (RIP) and Rowdy

Rowdy and Rumble
Staci has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Cal State Fullerton, where she also studied animal behavior. In addition, she has done volunteer work for the Irvine Animal Shelter. Staci is a retired Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) who worked in the veterinary industry for 25 years. In 2001, she began teaching puppy classes at the veterinary clinic. The classes became so popular, that many times there was a waiting list to get in. Wanting to help dog owners who could not attend her classes, Staci began conducting private, in-home training and Manners for Mutts was born!
Staci is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT – KA). She is also a member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), The Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians (SVBT), The National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA), The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB), a Family Dog Private Trainer and a Certified Family Dog Mediator (Whew!). Staci regularly attends conferences, workshops, and seminars in an effort to increase her knowledge of canine behavior and humane training techniques.
Staci currently lives with 2 Australian Shepherds, AllStar’s Rough and Rowdy (Rowdy) and Casa Blanca’s I’m Ready to Rumble (Rumble) and 2 cats Flurry and Amelia.
